Donated by Gwen Whyte, who inherited them from her late aunt, who had been a neighbour of Lackie’s in Balmore Street, Dundee.

Transcription

At Anderston Cross in Glesca
Where the Gaiety Hall doth stand
Where the turns are always splendid
And the pictures “beat the band”

Gie this to Geordie Lackie
The “Piper O’ Dundee”
He’ll be smoking a fag
Or blawing his bag
Or singing a melody.
