Dear Geordie / Jock

Met Mac. the other day &
was sorry I was not loaded
had nothing to defend my-
self with. You know how
he gets at you when you are
unarmed & defenceless. We
were speaking about cinemas
& he says “I believe they are
very busy in the January”.

“What at?” I asked innocently.
“Why” he says “at Mac-
indoe’s. Lots of pigeons
there now I believe” says
he & a Blackie not far
away either. But I hope
Hawkhills them all.

I made a grab for him but
he was off & flew. Good luck
at the Queen’s & may your bag-
pipes never earn enough. But it
is awfully windy just now, isn’t it?
