Transcription
To Mr Geordie Lackie
At Clark’s Picture Palace fair
In Peterhead, where, so ’tis said
Many people live who wish they were dead
Or free from the hotel there
What Geordie did I cannot say
But I hope in future days
When his time is done
And his freedom won
He’ll see the error of his ways.
Later:
I hear twas bag-pipe playing
That run poor Lackie in
Could anybody pardon
Such a double D.D. sin.
