Who will pourtray, through the medium of Song, Conundrums, Sayings, and Doings, the Oddities, Peculiarities, Eccentricities, and Whimsicalities, of the Sable Genus of America. The Songs are set to some of the most precious gems of Melody, as sung at Marriage Festivals, the gathering in of the Cotton and other Crops, all abounding with lively and touching sentiments, at the same time filled with humorous narrative or laughter-exciting details. Each of the delineators of Negro Character plays on a instrument such as are in use in the Plantations in the Southern States of America.
