
Abertay Historical Society: A Dundee Miscellany. This Miscellany features four in-depth essays exploring Dundee’s social, industrial and economic history. Each one relates to a fundamental part of the lives of many Dundonians – going to school, working in the mills, feeding yourself and your family, and having fun during your time off.

The British Music Hall Society has been championing the cause of the history of popular entertainment since 1963. Without Victorian Music Hall there’d be no “Britain’s Got Talent”. We are here to make sure that nobody forgets where we came from!

Folk Song and Music Hall. John Baxter’s site features a collection of Songs sung in the Music Halls, the stories of those songs and the people who sang them, exploring how these songs relate to traditional music of the English speaking world.

The P.P. Bell Archive. Curated by Emil Thomson, this site is home to a collection of documents relating to the life of Pat (P. P.) Bell, a well known Dundee entertainer who regularly performed in Scotland and London between 1895 and 1942.

Arthur Lloyd: Music Hall and Theatre History Site. This site has over 1,600 pages of information and more than 20,000 images on the History of Music Hall and Theatre in the UK and Ireland. Dedicated to music hall performer Arthur Lloyd (1839 – 1904).
