The object’s story
Object Description
This bold letterpress poster advertises the programme at Dundee’s King’s Theatre and Hippodrome for the week beginning 2 June 1913. The star attraction was music hall favourite Molly Wells, promoted in large type for her performance of comic songs accompanied by composer Frank Mayban. The bill also featured Joe Almasio, Eddy Lawler, comedy tumblers Briff, Braff and Broff, and actress Jean Aylwin in the Scottish playlet A Careless Lassie.
