6. Foundering. The great vessel sinking by the head. The extinction of the lights. The sinking.

7. The arrival of the “Carpathia” and rescue of the survivors.

The spectacle staged in its entirety by JOHN R. POOLE, and every endeavour made to cover a true pictorial idea of the whole history of the disaster.
