The object’s story

Object Description

This colourful poster advertises All French, an “Entente Cordiale Revue” presented at Dundee’s King’s Theatre and Hippodrome during the early weeks of the First World War. Featuring an international cast, dancers, and a chorus of thirty, the production celebrated Anglo-French cultural ties. The programme also included contemporary war films and variety acts such as Bart and Bart and Pat, Doris and Avice.
